Yes. Every estimate is free and there's no pressure. We take a look, talk through what you want, and send you a clear written quote. You decide from there, on your terms.
Yes, fully. Companion Painting is BC licensed (FM1112157) and carries $3M in general liability insurance. Your home and your peace of mind are covered from day one.
We'll shift and cover smaller items and protect everything that stays. For heavy or valuable pieces, we ask that you move those ahead of time, or leave them and we'll cover and work around them carefully. We'll walk through it with you before we start so nothing's a surprise.
Usually yes. We use low-odour products where we can, work room by room, and keep the home livable and tidy each day.
Yes. If you're stuck between colours, we'll talk it through and help you land on something you'll love living with.
Yes. Bring us a paint can, a chip, or even a photo, and we'll match it as closely as possible. If it's an older or custom colour, we'll be honest about how close we can get.
It depends on the rooms and prep involved. We give you a realistic timeline in the quote and stick to it, with updates along the way.
That's not us. Prep is what separates a finish that lasts years from one that peels in months, and we won't put our name on a job we can't stand behind. If you want it done right and done once, that's exactly how we work. If you need a fast patch job, we're probably not the right crew.
You can, but it changes what we can promise. We spec specific products for each surface because that's what makes the finish last, so when we supply the paint it's covered by our craftsmanship warranty of up to 9 years. If you supply it, we'll still do great work, we just can't back it the same way.
Yes, our minimum is $2,000. It keeps our scheduling and pricing fair for the kind of work we do best. If your project is smaller, we're happy to point you in the right direction, and if it's close, just ask and we'll be straight with you.
